Even though the attack is from high tonnage evhicle with high speeds , it's not possible for the vehicle to keep on moving because of the damage given to front , wheels and the bottom of the vehicle . VVS Road blockers are designed to all security standards. Power pack unit is the electro-hydraulic, but in case on unexpected power failer or brake down to the road blocker can be lowered or lifted manually with the help of hand pump. It will work work with the push button ,radtio control ,on/off key switch etc. Besides , safety accessories like photocells, inductive loop detectors , flashing lights or red /green traffic lights can be integrated to the systems very easily , Typical weight of a road blockers is 2.5 tons..
Steel Construction
Main mechnical elements forming the construction are heavy duty 10 mm top plate and the frame consisting of 100 *100 box, 200*75 mm U and 100*10 mm metal sheet & plate . This sophisticated mechanical designs enables are the road blocker to with stand minimum 50 tons of axle load, besides , in case of crash , linkage bars transmit the impact directly to the foundation, there for help to protect the steel structure . Steel construction is 3 layer primary coated in order to prevent rusting . Additionally the parts which stand above the ground level are yellow-black painted..
Hydraulic Power Unit And control electronics
All the hydraulic components are tested at 250 bars although normal operating pressured are around 75-100 bars. Mnnual handpump is standard type with lever therefor is case of power failure it is possible to raise and lower the blockers by mannual handpump. Twp keyboard with emergency stop are standard, one dekstop , other being integrated in the hydraulic power unit.. Motor is driven by a contactor and protected by a thermic breaker.
The low current voltage required by the system is supplied by a switch mode power supply..
