VVS Clear strip doors are used to save energy and provide a safe see through opening for traffic of any nature.

Energy Saver:VVS Strip doors reduces the amount of air that can escape while a person or vehicle passes through the opening. In summer, this keeps filtered and conditioned cooled air inside and reduces humidity, while in the winter, it prevents frigid air from entering and costly heated air from escaping. It reduces compressor running times in walk-in coolers and freezers by as much as 45 percent, saving additional energy costs. Since they save energy, and therefore save money. VVS Strip Doors have become the leading product used for these applications.

Pollution Seal: VVS Strip Door cuts the cost of operating air-filtration systems by sealing out dust, dirt, fumes, smoke and airborne contaminants. Removing these particulates also minimizes clean-up costs, enhances the plant's appearance and will help you meet employee protection standards.

Acoustical Control: Sound transmission is reduced considerably whether the VVS Strip Door is used as a door, a room divider or both. Its ability to control acoustics and dampen noise can often help a facility meet noise requirements at a fraction of the cost of building a sound-deadening structure. When used around noisy machinery, the transparent strips offer high visibility and easy access to the equipment.

The Steel Hardware is considered a one time investment.  The strip door hardware is attached to the wall or barrier over the doorway. Then clear plastic PVC strips attach to the hardware and overlay in a lapping fashion.   Most existing strip doors use steel hardware with pegs placed every 2 inches.  The holes in the top of the PVC material are punched to match this pattern and allows for easy strip replacements.
